To take a reading of the HM-5 with your Android, do the following:
1. Go to the Monitor List (example below).
2. Place the back of the phone up against the HM-5 electronic module. Depending on the phone, you may need to move the phone slightly in order to find the best NFC transmission position. The reading will take at the most 4 seconds.
3. When the reading is finished, the Android will display the following screen.
There may also be a Upload Data option if the Automatic Upload setting is not set on in the Application Settings.
4. If you have set B-Ware for manual uploads, you may upload now (or later). If set for automatic upload, it will upload the data to the cloud immediately after reading the monitor. A running status of the cloud upload is shown - below is an example:
Note: In addition to downloading data, every Android reading synchronizes the Android smartphone time with the time in the HM-5 if set to do so in Settings (recommended).
