Before reading this article, be sure to read "Setting up your GW-1" article first.
1.) On your phone app, make sure you are logged into your Solutionbee account. Tap on the "GW" icon at the bottom of the screen.
2.) Plug in your GW-1 into a powered USB port. The GW will appear on the phone screen. The GW LED will turn on and its color will be red.
3.) Tap on the GW in order to go to the configuration screen. The GW LED will turn from Red to Blue at this point, indicating that the GW is in configuration mode. The phone app will automatically start searching for nearby WiFi routers.
4.) Rotate the selection bar to find the WiFi router you would like to connect to.
5.) For that WiFi router, write in the router password. Tap on the "Configure" button.
6.) The GW is connected when the message, "Gateway connected successfully" displays.
7.) The GW LED will remain blue for about 3 minutes and then turn green when the connection is established. The green LED is an indication that data is flowing.
8.) Wait about 20 minutes for data to appear on the Solutionbee cloud HM-1 charts.
9.) Congratulations! You have configured the GW-1 gateway.
