This feature is available in the iPhone app under the "Live Data" feature. Please follow the instructions below to tare your HM-6:
1.) From the Monitor List, select the HM-6 to tare by tapping on the "circled i" next to that HM-6.
2.) Select the Live Data option.
3.) Place the top of the iPhone flat against the HM-6 electronic module and wait for 5 seconds until the Bluetooth connection is established with the appearance of the weight and temperature dials.
Tip: NFC reads trigger the Bluetooth connection on for a few seconds. If you are quick, you can do a NFC read, tap on the "circled i" and "Live Data" and it will jump to the Live Data screen, step 4, without asking to start the bluetooth connection below.
4.) Tap on the blue "0.0" to start the tare process. Note that the Bluetooth connection is time limited to 3 minutes, 180 seconds, in order to reduce battery consumption.
5.) The software will ask if this is really what you want to do. Caution: do not tare with the hive on the scale or the scale will only start measuring from zero when it gains incremental weight.
6.) A few seconds after pressing "Proceed", the HM-6 will tare.
