The Customer ID is a customer identified field that can be modified by the beekeeper.
When shipped, the Customer ID field is filled with a sequentially increasing serial number with the format "HM-1 XXXXX". To make this number visible make sure that the "Use Customer ID" is turn ON in Settings (iPhone). Android users will see this number automatically after reading the sensor one time.
The Customer ID field is also shown on a label on the HM-1 frame.
The Customer ID can be modified on the iPhone app to anything you want such as "My Favorite Hive" or anything else. Simply tap on the field and then tap on the diskette icon to save the new Customer ID. You must be near the sensor to perform this operation.
