Your HM-1 is designed to bring you years of fascinating data.

However, as with any technical product, things can and do go wrong.  Here are some common and easy items to check before contacting Solutionbee for help.

The HM-1 is identified with only a long alphanumeric identifier, not the serial number on the frame in the format "HM-1 00XXXX"1.) On the Android, the sensor needs to be read (Read Data) at least once in order for the serial number to be visible on the phone app.
2.) On the iPhone, the setting for the Customer ID may be turned off.
1.) On the Android, perform a Read Data function for each sensor, at least once, so that the alphanumeric identifier is matched with the HM-1 serial number.
2.) On the iPhone, go to Settings and turn Customer ID "On".
An error or the app crashes when I try to upload the data to the cloud.1.) You may not be logged into your account on the phone app.
2.) There may be no data to upload.
3.) The app may be in la-la land.
1.) Make sure you are logged in by going to Account Settings (Android) or Settings/Account Settings (iPhone) to be sure you are logged in.
2.) Make sure you read the sensor at least once before attempting to upload data to the cloud.
3.) Delete the app and then reinstall it.
The app cannot find my sensor1.) It may be that your iPhone is not scanning for sensors.  Androids are continually scanning.
2.) You may be too far away
3.) The battery may be depleted.
1.) On the iPhone, make sure the app is scanning.  The words "Stop Scan" should be on the top right corner.  If it says "Start Scan", tap it to change it to "Stop Scan".
2.) The sensor should be readable within at least 30ft (10m).
3.) Replace the battery with a "CR2477" type coin cell battery.
The mesh holding the sensor in the cage is completely propolized.Bees are the likely culprit.  :-)One side of the cage is attached with only thumbtacks, designed to easily remove the
 mesh and clean/replace it.
The HM-1 data in the cloud does not appear in the graph even though the data does appear under the Table option.  The graph in fact appears to have no data on it at all. There is a known bug that sometimes the HM-1 data will not initially appear on the graph.
In order to get around the bug, simply go to the Details section (in the cloud) for that HM-1 and press the "Save" button on that page.  Then go back and check the graph.  The data should now be displayed in the graph.
